Mrs. Michelle Brown

Hometown: Port St. Lucie

Education: Brown attended Northport K-8 School in Port St. Lucie, then two years at Port St. Lucie High followed by two years at Martin County High School.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in 1993 and a master’s degree in music education from the same institution in 2006.

Professional career:

Brown taught at middle school for five years in Louisiana prior to returning to this area for one year, during which she taught at Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce. She then taught in Texas for three years. She began as band director at Martin County High School on Aug. 2, 2010.
